BB5000

Incubators

The BB5000 is an infant incubator from Zhengzhou Dison Instrument and Meter Co., Ltd. (China) for neonatal care units. Temperature is servo-controlled in air or skin mode, with two skin sensors for central and peripheral temperature and temperatures above 37 °C selectable. A 10-inch colour touchscreen shows temperature graphs, and the incubator includes humidity control, oxygen-concentration control and a baby-weighing system, with SpO2 among the displayed parameters. A double-fan air curtain improves temperature uniformity and reduces heat loss when the doors are opened. Both side doors open with damping and independent locks, the bed pulls out from either side and has electric step-less tilt of ±12°, and the height of the whole unit is adjustable with foot pedals.
