Patient monitors

The EDAN iM20 is a transport patient monitor with a 5-inch touch screen that also serves as the multi-parameter module of EDAN's Elite V series monitors, so monitoring can continue from ambulance and transport to the bedside. It weighs 1.5 kg, is protected to IP44 against water and dust, withstands drops from 1 metre and runs for up to 5.5 hours on its rechargeable lithium-ion battery; the design is fan-free. Standard monitoring includes ECG with EDAN's iSEAP arrhythmia algorithm, SpO2 with perfusion index, NIBP and two temperature channels. Options include 12-lead ECG with SEMIP interpretation, Nellcor SpO2, SunTech NIBP, two-channel invasive pressure, thermodilution cardiac output and EtCO2. EDAN (Edan Instruments, Shenzhen, China) develops and manufactures diagnostic ECG, patient-monitoring, obstetric and other medical equipment.
