Patient monitors

The EDAN iV12 is a modular patient monitor from EDAN's iV series for high-acuity care in intensive care, cardiac care and operating rooms. Parameter modules are plug-and-play, so each bed can be configured for the patient. The manufacturer lists for the iV series an anti-glare full-HD touch screen, a fan-free design, and monitoring options including up to 8 channels of invasive blood pressure, PresCCO minimally invasive continuous cardiac output, continuous non-invasive blood pressure (CNBP), anaesthetic gases, BIS, neuromuscular transmission, rSO2 and dual SpO2. Clinical scoring tools include SOFA/qSOFA, early-warning scores (NEWS, NEWS2, MEWS, PEWS) and the Glasgow Coma Scale. The monitors connect to the EDAN central monitoring station over wired or wireless networks and to electronic medical records via HL7. The display size and module configuration of the iV12 are confirmed in the quotation. EDAN (Edan Instruments, Shenzhen, China) develops and manufactures diagnostic ECG, patient-monitoring, obstetric and other medical equipment.
