300 L Pass-Through Steam Sterilizer

The LabTech 300 L Pass-Through Steam Sterilizer is a double-door Class B steam sterilizer with pre- and post-vacuum and a square, jacketed chamber. In a pass-through installation it is built into the wall between the unclean and clean areas of a sterilization department: loads go in on the unclean side and are removed after sterilization on the clean side, and while one door is open the other stays closed. In LabTech's 2023 catalogue this size is the LAC-7307 with a 308-litre chamber (530 × 530 × 1100 mm): the LAC-7307DSP has a built-in 45-litre steam generator and the LAC-7307DES works from an external steam supply. Door opening, closing and sealing are automatic, a pressure-actuated door lock prevents opening under pressure, and a 7-inch touch-screen PLC controller runs six pre-programmed cycles (unwrapped, wrapped, liquid and Bowie-Dick) or user programmes at 121–135 °C. Steam traps and water re-circulation reduce water consumption, a 0.2 µm HEPA filter is used in the drying cycle, and cycle data can be saved to USB or monitored from a PC over LAN. The model supplied is confirmed in the quotation.
