Bone Wax — Z046

Haemostatic products

Bone Wax — Z046 is a sterile surgical haemostatic wax that controls bleeding from bone surfaces by acting as a mechanical barrier. It is based on beeswax and isopropyl palmitate, is shaped by the warmth of the hand, stays in place without swelling and does not dissolve in body fluids. It is not for use where rapid bone regeneration is required. Supplied as individually wrapped sterile 2.5 g plates, 12 per box. SMI AG (Belgium) is a manufacturer of surgical sutures that also supplies speciality surgical products and complies with EN ISO 13485. Meditech supplies the SMI range in Armenia.
