RaySafe

X2 R/F Sensor

Radiation QA sensors

The RaySafe X2 R/F Sensor is the radiography and fluoroscopy sensor for the RaySafe X2 system. In a single exposure it measures kVp, dose, dose rate, half-value layer, total filtration, exposure time, pulses, dose per pulse and waveforms. The sensor is orientation independent, and its stacked-sensor design gives dose and HVL results without manual corrections and prevents the influence of the heel effect. RaySafe specifies 40–150 kVp, dose from 1 nGy to 9999 Gy, dose rate from 1 nGy/s to 500 mGy/s and HVL from 1 to 14 mm Al.
