McDonald / Wurm-Hefner Cervix Set — ZCE9 is SMI's cervical cerclage suture set for the McDonald and Wurm-Hefner techniques. According to the SMI catalogue it contains a 75 cm green polyester thread (EP 6 / USP 8) with two round-bodied taper-cutting needles (HRT 48 mm). SMI AG (St. Vith, Belgium) has manufactured surgical sutures since 1987 and exports to 120 countries. Meditech supplies the SMI range in Armenia.
