AXION

DA-N-01

Defibrillators

The AXION DA-N-01 is an automatic external defibrillator from Concern Axion (Izhevsk, Russia) for defibrillating patients in sudden cardiac arrest caused by ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia. It works in automatic mode only: it analyses the ECG through the defibrillation electrodes, indicates whether a shockable rhythm is present and guides the rescuer through defibrillation and CPR with voice prompts and on-screen messages. Therapy is delivered as a biphasic truncated exponential impulse of up to 360 J. According to the manual, the defibrillator unit is rated IP55, weighs no more than 2.4 kg without its battery and is powered by a non-rechargeable battery.
