AXION

DA-N-02

Defibrillators

The AXION DA-N-02 is an external defibrillator from Concern Axion (Izhevsk, Russia) intended for resuscitation and cardiology physicians. It works in both automatic and manual modes. In automatic mode it analyses the ECG, indicates whether a shockable rhythm is present and gives voice prompts for the shock and CPR; in manual mode the clinician decides on defibrillation from the displayed ECG, and synchronised cardioversion is available. The ECG can be monitored through the defibrillation electrodes or a separate ECG cable. Therapy is a biphasic truncated exponential impulse of up to 360 J. The unit performs a daily self-test and records up to 1,000 events, including ECG, on a microSD card for transfer to a computer.
