Service requests should not contain identifiable patient information unless Meditech has specifically requested it and its disclosure is lawful and necessary. Customers remain responsible for removing or anonymizing patient information before submitting logs, screenshots, images, or other technical materials whenever possible.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.

Meditech may share relevant personal data with:

  • Equipment manufacturers and their authorized technical teams.
  • Service engineers, trainers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Logistics, customs, warehousing, and transportation providers.
  • Website hosting, software, communications, and IT-security providers.
  • Accountants, auditors, banks, insurers, and professional advisers.
  • Public procurement bodies and contracting organizations.
  • Government bodies, regulators, courts, and law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is legally required.

We provide only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and expect recipients to protect it appropriately.

Meditech does not sell personal data.

8. International Data Transfers

Because Meditech works with international manufacturers and service organizations, information connected with a quotation, equipment configuration, installation, technical case, warranty request, or repair may need to be transferred outside Armenia.

Such transfers are made only when necessary and in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Meditech takes reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient has an appropriate reason to receive the information and protects it adequately.

Before providing files for manufacturer support, customers should remove unnecessary personal or patient information.

9. Data Retention

Meditech retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, contractual, accounting, tax, regulatory, warranty, safety, and technical-service requirements.

Retention periods may vary according to the type of information. For example:

  • Enquiries may be retained while the request remains active and for an appropriate follow-up period.
  • Contract and transaction records may be retained for the applicable statutory period.
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair records may be retained throughout the supported life of the equipment and for an appropriate period afterward.
  • Recruitment information may be retained for the relevant recruitment process and, with permission where required, for future opportunities.
  • Security and system logs may be retained for a limited period appropriate to their purpose.

When personal data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, anonymized, or archived where continued retention is legally required.
