Ventilators

The Löwenstein Medical elisa 500 is a compact-class intensive care ventilator with turbine technology for invasive and non-invasive ventilation. A noise-optimised turbine provides ample flow reserves at high peak flows, and the basic version already includes special sensors, transpulmonary pressure measurement and Cuffscout continuous cuff-pressure control, which detects defective cuffs and leaks and includes cough detection. Its configurable interface with a 15-inch colour screen covers applications from weaning units to maximum-care intensive care. Optional modules include LEOCLAC automatic control of inspiratory oxygen by integrated pulse oximetry, volumetric capnography, the PEEPfinder, and measurement of volatile anaesthetic agents with the LEOLYZER multi-gas sensor.
