The Löwenstein Medical elisa 800 VIT corresponds to Löwenstein's elisa 800 R-VIT: an elisa 800 intensive care ventilator with a special interface for electrical impedance tomography (EIT). With the elisa VIT module, EIT assesses regional lung function at the bedside, non-invasively and without radiation - including ventilation distribution, stretch, regional compliance, regional tidal volume and functional lung size - to support lung-protective ventilation settings. The ventilator also offers weaning indicators and the Weaning Analyzer, Cuffscout cuff-pressure control, transpulmonary pressure measurement and optional modules for sedation-depth monitoring, indirect calorimetry and anaesthetic-gas measurement.
