MVE

XC 21/6

Cryogenic storage

The MVE XC 21/6 is an aluminium liquid-nitrogen dewar from the MVE XC series, used to store samples such as semen and embryo straws and cryovials in canisters immersed in liquid nitrogen. The XC 21/6 does not appear on MVE's current XC series specification sheets, so its capacity, canister configuration and hold time are confirmed in the quotation. MVE Biological Solutions (USA), formerly part of Chart Industries and now part of the Cryoport group, manufactures liquid-nitrogen dewars, vapor shippers and freezers for cryopreservation.
